Cyrela's 2021 launch — the first new residential development in Arpoador in a decade.
On The Sea Arpoador is a single residential tower at Rua Francisco Otaviano 59, a short walk from both the Arpoador rock and Copacabana's Posto 6. The project stacks nine residential floors plus duplex penthouses above a ground floor, mezzanine and leisure deck, for a total of around 60 apartments: two-suite units averaging 72 m² and 95 m², two garden units of about 144 m², and six duplex penthouses up to roughly 187 m².
The amenity package is unusually full for the neighborhood's mostly older building stock: a 25-meter heated lap pool, children's pool and heated spa, a two-story gym, sauna, massage room, games room and a party room with terrace. It is the area's clearest example of new-build product in an otherwise consolidated 1950s–70s streetscape.

Developed by Cyrela with SIG Engenharia and launched in 2021, On The Sea was reported by Diário do Rio as the first development launched in Arpoador in ten years — and it sold half its units on the first day, a measure of how starved the micro-neighborhood was for new inventory.
